From 2020-2021, reporting of Hospital Acquired Complications (HAC), including malnutrition, was introduced in Victoria. In the near future, identification of HAC’s may result in funding implications on organisations. It is vital that dietitians understand how to correctly identify and diagnose malnutrition to improve patient quality of care and minimise funding implications.-
